About Orel Ministry

About the Ministry

OREL INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY was launched in 2021EC as per the mission of the Gospel of Matthew 28:18-20” 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age. “Accordingly, this ministry runs in pursuit of this mission. We have begun spreading the good news starting from Ethiopia and aim to continue doing so to the whole world until the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Name OREL is a Hebrew word meaning “God’s light”. It is taken from the Bible verse on John 8:12 Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life.

Mission

Preaching the Gospel with supernatural signs, wonders and miracles both individually and in groups Mark 16:19-20,

A powerless Gospel is preached from many pulpits today. Jesus never intended that. To the contrary, the Church that He established on this earth is called to preach the Gospel and to see it confirmed in Holy Spirit power, with supernatural signs following.

Mark 16:19-20, KJV “So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.”

Help people reach their spiritual goal by giving a consistent teaching Eph. 4:12-13

Paul wrote, “Prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” (Eph. 4:12-13). Learning God’s Word is the first essential thing for spiritual growth.

Provide teachings that equip with both spiritual and intellectual knowledge Proverbs 2:6

Proverbs 2:6 “6 For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”

“Wisdom” is a gift from God.

Open Biblical schools (Theological) to give biblical teachings so as to have a generation with the fear of God that is a blessing for the country and the nation at large Deuteronomy 6:1-25

Deuteronomy 6:1-25 “Now this is the commandment, the statutes and the rules that the Lord your God commanded me to teach you, that you may do them in the land to which you are going over, to possess it, that you may fear the Lord your God, you and your son and your son’s son, by keeping all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, all the days of your life, and that your days may be long. Hear therefore, O Israel, and be careful to do them, that it may go well with you, and that you may multiply greatly, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey. “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. …

Make disciples and send them to spread the Gospel Matthew 28:19

“19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, “Matthew 28:19

Work alongside churches with similar mission Philippians 1:27

“Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;” Philippians 1:27

We want to continue to take the gospel to the nations by working alongside churches with similar missions. We aim to do so through different events, and through TV series, and videos online.

Jesus loves his bride the church (Ephesians 5:25-27)

-Through different conferences and events, we want to encourage and inspire the church to a deeper love for Jesus, to communion with the Holy Spirit, and to a life of holiness and power to manifest God’s kingdom on earth.

-Through youth events around the world, we want to lead this generation of young people to a personal encounter with Jesus and to experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit in their lives so they may be able to fulfill God’s special purpose for their lives.

Belief

Statement of Faith

  • The Word of God. We believe the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original writings, complete as a revelation of God’s will for salvation, and the supreme and final authority in faith and life. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet 1:19-21)
  • The Trinity. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, sharing the same nature and attributes. (Gen. 1:26; Deut. 6:4; Mt 3:16-17; 28:19)
  • God the Father. We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe He concerns Himself mercifully in affairs of men, hears and answers prayers, and saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (Jn. 16:23-27; Gal 4:4-6; Eph. 1:3; 17-23)
  • God the Son. We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s eternal Son. He is true God and true man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. We also believe in His sinless life, His substitutionary atonement, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension into heaven, His priestly intercession in behalf of His people, and His personal, visible return from heaven. (Mt. 1:18-23; Lk. 24:1-8; Jn. 1:1, 14; Acts 1:11; 2 Cor. 5:19-21; Heb. 4:14-16; 7:24-25; 1 Jn. 2:1; Rev 19, 20)
  • God the Holy Spirit. We believe the Holy Spirit is a person and is fully God. He regenerates, baptizes into the body of Christ, indwells every believer, guides and empowers believers, and gives gifts to all believers to be used in ministry so that the church fulfills its mission on earth. (Mt. 28:19; Jn. 3:5; 16:13; Acts 1:8 ;5:3-4; 1 Cor. 6:11, 19; 12:4-13; Eph. 3:16; 4:1-16)
  • Man. We believe God created man, male and female, in the image of God and free from sin. We further believe that man, because of his fall in Adam, is a sinner by nature and choice and is therefore spiritually dead, in need of salvation. (Gen. 1:26-27; 2:7-3:19; Rom. 3:23; 5:12-21; 6:23)
  • Salvation. We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We further believe that this salvation is based upon the sovereign grace of God, was purchased by Christ on the cross, and is received by man through faith, apart from any human merit, works, or ritual. Salvation results in righteous living, good works, and proper social concern. Salvation is by grace, through faith, accompanied by repentance from sin and a genuine confession of Jesus as Lord. (Luke 13:3; Jn. 1:12; 3:3-7; 5:24; Romans 2:5; 3:25; 10:9-10; 11:6; Eph. 2:8-10; 1 Tim. 2:5)
  • Church. We believe that the church is the spiritual body of which Christ is the head. The true church is composed of all persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. This body expresses itself in local assemblies whose members have been baptized upon a credible confession of faith and have associated themselves for worship, instruction, evangelism, and service. We believe the ordinances of the local church are baptism and the Lord’s Supper.  We also believe in the interdependence of local churches and the mutual submission of believers to each other in love. (Mt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; 2:41-47; Eph.       5:21; Col. 1:18; Heb. 10:24-25)
  • Separation of Church and State. We believe that each local church is self-governing in function and must be free from interference by any external (outside of the church) or political authority. We further believe that every human being is directly responsible to God in matters of faith and life, and that each should be free to worship God according to the dictates of his conscience. (Mt. 22:21; Rom. 13:1; 1 Tim. 2:1-6)
  • Christian Conduct. We believe that the supreme task of every believer is to glorify God in his life. The believer should live blamelessly before the world, be a faithful steward of his possessions, and seek to obtain for himself the full stature of maturity in Christ. (1 Cor. 10:31; Col. 1:28; 1 Tim. 6:6-9; 1 Pet. 1:14-15)
  • Ressurection. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and lost, the eternal conscious existence of all men either in heaven or hell, and in divine judgments, rewards, and punishments. (Jn. 5:29; 1 Cor. 3:11-15; 15:51-58; 2 Cor. 5:6-10; 1 Thes. 4:13-18; 2 Jn. 8; Revelation 19, 20)
